Lawndale Crossings and Peace Lutheran Ministries are planning on a replanting of the present Community Gardens for the summer of 2019 at its present site next to the softball field on Lawndale. If interested in becoming involved, please contact Linda Wilke (lwilke@peacesaginaw.org).
Above is a conceptual drawing of where the Community Gardens may be relocated for the summer of 2020. Part of the harvested vegetables, etc. will be used to for local ministries such as Old Town Christian Outreach. We are looking for volunteers for this project, and it does not have to be just Peace members.
